In her recent past, she worked as a mobile therapist for a year and a half providing treatment services to the low-income and homelessness populations.
Aside from her clinical work at iHEAL, Mrs. Ruiz also manages the day-to-day operations of the clinic. She is responsible for hiring/terminating providers, managing patient and employee concerns, developing policies and procedures for the clinic, fulfilling requests for information, creating the therapists' schedules, and more.
Prior to providing therapeutic services, Mrs. Ruiz worked as a psychiatric rehabilitation aide in Baltimore City. During this time, she assisted with case management by helping her clients obtain resources within their communities, such as social security benefits, affordable housing, and transportation assistance.
