Chandler is a doctoral clinical intern who is passionate about helping marginalized communities receive culturally-informed care and giving them the safe space to express themselves fully. Chandler’s approach to treatment is a person-centered, multicultural approach. He believes in understanding patients' cultural context, having empathy and compassion for their lived experience, and helping them learn themselves more fully.
Chandler has previous experience providing coordination services to marginalized mental health clients across New York City’s five boroughs. He provided resources for housing, food, employment, and medical care.
In his free time, Chandler enjoys music, cooking, sleeping, and taking walks.
