Social Skills Groups Candidates

If you are wondering if your child would be a good fit for one of the social skills groups at iHEAL, answer the following questions:

1. Has s/he been diagnosed with one or more of the following (or do you suspect that s/he is struggling with one or more of the following):

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders

  • Depressive Disorders

  • Anxiety Disorders

  • Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders

 

2. Does s/he struggle with one or more of the following:

  • Socializing

  • Responding to Authority

  • Impulsiveness

  • Negative Thought Processes

  • Poor concentration

  • Anxiety/Depression

  • Difficulty overcoming negative circumstances

 

3. Can s/he interact with others with at least a minimal level of comfort and without debilitating fear?

4. Has the time commitment to attend the group sessions as well as complete the homework assignments given?

5. Is s/he between the ages of 8-10 or 11-13?
