Her clinical experience includes treating patients with trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and self-awareness issues. Specializing in providing treatment for children with special needs like learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries, she previously worked at Kennedy Krieger High School.
She also has a passion for working with couples to provide support and guidance for establishing and maintaining open and honest communication with each other. Along with providing care to patients in our outpatient program, she is the manager of the Therapeutic Foster Care program, providing oversight and direct care to children who are in the Baltimore City foster care system.
When not working, Wendi loves reading, spending time with friends and family, and knitting.
Her favorite quote (at least at the moment) is, "So often in life things that you regard as an impediment turn out to be great good fortune." ~ Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
