Taylor (they/them), a native Texan, is a social worker with professional experience working with community mental health within the foster care system, non-profit social services, and residential treatment for adolescents. They utilize several different modalities including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, as well as narrative and solution focused therapy.
They specialize in working with adolescents and young adults within the LGBTQ+ community and are on the autism spectrum. They have experience advocating for the transgender and gender diverse community and have a passion for uplifting others that need their voice to be heard. They also have experience working with individuals who experience PTSD, ADHD, self-harm, substance use, and mood disorders.
Taylor approaches therapy with the philosophy that we are doing the best we can with what we have, and that deserves some recognition.
In their free time, they enjoy playing games, hanging out with friends, and cuddling their dog, Storm.
