Mrs. Kayla Watson specializes in working with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety and depression, life transitions, relational difficulties, and self-esteem issues. She also has a special interest in working with couples and families. At iHEAL, she serves as a mental health therapist and the Assistant Director of Intake and Discharge Coordination. She's responsible for making sure that patients get connected to treatment as seamlessly and efficiently as possible as well as helping patients transition out of treatment.
As a therapist, Kayla is dedicated to meeting patients where they are and providing a safe and nurturing environment which encompasses encouragement, validation, laughter, empathy, and unconditional positive regard to motivate clients towards growth. She incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, as well as psychoeducation to help clients achieve their goals, understand themselves better, and move toward healing.
