Ms. Shania Greenwood holds a bachelors degree in psychology from Morgan State University and a masters degree in applied psychology from the University of Baltimore. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University.
At iHEAL, she is the Director of Mobile Treatment Services and oversees patients who have serious and persistent mental illness. She believes that all persons must have access to quality mental health treatment regardless of their abilities. Her passions include working in the community and in her recent past, she worked as a school-based mental health clinician providing treatment to low-income children and their families.
As a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), Ms. Greenwood has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy to patients at a wide variety of ages. Her clinical specializations include treating patients with self-esteem, body image, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and working with the LGBTQIA+ community. She also enjoys working with parents on behavior management skills and fostering healthy relationships with their children. In her recent past, she worked as a school-based mental health clinician providing treatment services to the low-income children and their families.
She is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA), American Educational Research Association (AERA), American Counseling Association (ACA), and the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPSi). She is also a certified notary public.
