Alexandra Edwards, MA

Mental Health Therapist

Psychology Associate (PA)

Alex is a licensed Psychology Associate in the State of Maryland. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master's of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The George Washington University.

She has volunteered with the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN) as a crisis intervention hotline staffer for survivors of sexual assault and worked as a research assistant for HopeWorks in Howard County in their program concerning intimate partner violence.

Alex works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety and depression, life transitions, and relationship issues. She uses her education, training, experience, and intuition as she helps clients transform their lives.

Alex’s approach to therapy is client-centric and insight oriented. She believes it is important to honor every patient as an individual. 

​

To relax, she enjoys smelling scented candles, doing crossword puzzles, cooking, and taking too many pictures of her cat, Talia.
